Pitching music to Deezer is an integral part of the music delivery process, and an artist will want to ensure they can spread their content as quickly and efficiently as possible. Deezer for Creators has built and is now delivering the new pitching tool, which has been created to establish a smoother process. Our pitching tool will also have an impact on recommendation algorithms, which can distribute music to wider audiences and will become the central tool for our editorial team at Deezer.
Note: Pitching Tool is only available to Providers or Label Accounts

Key Points
In order for you to utilize the pitching tool feature, there are a number of key points that should be considered before doing so.
- To optimize algorithmic and editorial recommendations, pitches need to be created and music delivered 7 days before the release date. Pitches or deliveries that arrive after this time will not have optimal pick up from the editorial team.
- If you have local and global record offices, please coordinate between yourselves and decide on responsibilities for multi-territory release - Deezer recommends that the closer team to the rep owner is in charge of creating the pitch, and other teams can check and add information for their local market.
In order to use the pitching tool feature, an admin account must either be already set up, or created to access the tool. Admin accounts can distribute access to further functionality easily to other members of your company depending on their roles.
Note: We recommend that only a maximum of 3 accounts are set up as Admin. Please do not share one admin account across multiple users
Admins will have access to the User manager feature whereby they can grant permissions to existing accounts and invite new users. If you do not know who is currently your company admin, please contact your Deezer Account Manager.
Once an Admin account is set up, that user will be able to distribute access to the pitching tool to other users in their company.
To access:
- Log on at Deezer For Creators
